WHO YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH MATTERS.
When I’m thinking of joining forces with someone I always look at who they choose to surround themself with.
The first question I ask myself is “is this the type of person I’d ever trust to leave my child with”.
If the answer is no, then it’s a no-go.
No sense getting into friendships or business relationships with people who are untrustworthy, irresponsible, or who lack integrity.
The second thing I look for is WHO they choose to surround themselves with.
Are they a leader who attracts other leaders? Am I INSPIRED not only by them but by who they attract? How about what they’re building? What’s their work-in-progress?
Do their partners/teammates/right hands exemplify great values? Are they hard working? Do they have integrity? Do they put in the work? Care about people? Have a voice?
Leadership isn’t about finding people we can control. It’s about grooming people who have self-control.
Who you attract matters!
Your TRIBE says a lot about you.
Take a look around. Are your people the type of people that are truly inspirational? Are you building (or a part of) a winning team?
You will only attract the best by building the best into your standards and your culture. You will only keep the best by continuing to become best.
