🔔 THERE IS HUGE POWER IN RECIPROCITY!!!
*In order to GET something, GIVE something first.*
Combine this mentality of OFFERING VALUE with the ability to foresee and remove roadblocks (a.k.a. fears/apprehension) and you’ll be well on your way toward SUCCESS.
Prospects have fears.
Think of them as the 3 C’s:
1) The Fear Of Cost
2) The Fear Of Commitment (Obligation)
3) The Fear Of Complication
✔️They DONT WANT anything to cost them TIME or MONEY.
✔️ They want to be FREE to do WHAT they want, WHEN they want without feeling OBLIGATED to anyone/anything in any way.
✔️ They want QUICK, EASY and NON-THREATENING.
Here is a FORMULA FOR SUCCESS that you can apply when prospecting for new business:
A. CONNECT (find common ground)
1) Ask a non-business related question
2) Acknowledge the response
3) Relate with the client / find common ground
🚨 If you can’t truly connect, care and relate well with others then how can you ever expect them to feel comfortable in working with you?
B. REFLECT (search for solutions)
4) Ask a business related question
5) Acknowledge the response
6) Look to offer value / provide a solution
🚨 Value looks different for everyone. One person may want to keep their costs down by leveraging great deals and promotions. Another may require a no-nonsense approach with fast, efficient and reliable service. Others may desire “different” — an eclectic, trendy or upscale touch. And ALWAYS, fantastic results! Our job is to ask the right questions, LISTEN to the prospect and truly SERVE THEM in the way they value most.
C. RESPECT (find the win-win)
7) Ask for what you need in order to do that (ie a number, email, more information etc).
🚨 Always look for the win-win. Meet the clients needs. Ask for what you’ll need in order to make that happen. Keep things open, transparent and direct. The goal is a healthy, long term win-win relationship with EVERYONE coming out ahead.
